GaleWind Books sprung from a literary vision in speculative fiction that has been in the making for over ten years. The SPARX vision is ambitious in scope, set to cover three main series in 9-12 books.

The creator of SPARX, K.B. Sprague, is a mathematician and theoretical physicist who enjoys letting his mind wander beyond equations and into the imaginative world of epic fantasy. Given the author's background, it is not surprising that SPARX also contains elements of science fiction that become more prevalent as the series progresses.
